Cabi Striped Cardi

Cardi, Tee, Jeans: Cabi // Heels & Clutch: Forever 21 // Sunnies: Vintage // Necklace: JCrew

Remember when I wore this long cardi and said I was in the market for more? Well, I mean really this cardi is everything. I love that is more than just a basic, but the color and the stripes give it that little extra oomph. It is also light enough weight, but heavy enough to keep warm. The LS tee and jeans are from Mondays look, I love that they are so versatile. Like I said on Monday, I got four pieces and created two outfits. I love when that happens!  I can't say enough great things about Cabi, I highly reccomend heading over to the site to check it out and find some great pieces for yourself!

Explorer Vest

Vest, LS Tee, Jeans: Cabi Clothing (c/o) // Shoes: Steve Madden via Nordstrom Rack // Bag: Michael Kors // Glasses: Ray Ban // Necklace: Nordstrom

After this weekend it better stay warm, if it doesn't I will be so sad and it will be the biggest tease ever! It was almost 60 degrees February! I am chomping at the bit to plant my garden, but I am holding off because I know that frost will come in like a wrecking ball.

Like I mentioned last week I am preparing for spring, my wardrobe is totally ready too. These three pieces are my newest addition to my spring collection with many thanks to one of my new favorite retailers Cabi. You know how I feel about companies that are for women by women. If you check them out, it can be your new fav too! Cabi is a beautiful collection of women's apparel, designed for REAL women who live real lives. The line includes an affordable mix of professional separates and casual everyday pieces with new collections introduced in spring and fall. I am wearing the new SS16 collection. Cabi also has a consultant based selling model, Cabi stylist are there to help which is so great when need that extra bit of help or another stylish persons opinion! When I received my pieces in the mail I was extremely pleased at the quality. This long sleeve tee is the softest most luxurious tee's I own. I ordered four pieces and was able to create two full looks that I am loving and will transition perfectly into spring. The second look is coming later this week so stay tuned!

Winter Neutrals

Sweater: Banana Republic // Scarf: American Eagle // Jeans: Current Elliot // Booties: Nordstrom // Beanie: Primark // Sunglasses: LOFT

So long sweet winter..March is right around the corner, literally. I can't wait for the spring and summer. I can't wait to garden, flower weddings, and hopefully get a damn tan. I am legit so pale its scary! I am hoping Kev and I catch a break and run away to Florida for a weekend, but I won't hold my breath, but hey i'll keep my hopes alive. We could both really use some down time.

I am obsessed with these jeans I got in NYC. They are Current Elliot and they were $10 a piece....what!?!?! I know! My sweater was only $20 from banana republic. I am all about neutrals right now, especially in the winter, I know most people go to black but this winter was about neutrals for me! I think this color palette will continue into spring and summer too.

I know I will be shedding layers this spring and summer so I need to get my but back in gear in the gym. Being so busy that was the first thing to drop off the to do list, but that's super dangerous, not only for my bikini bod but for my mental health. Working out is a keep an eye out for more workout inspo from me!  =)

Maroon & Mustard: Winter Wind Down

Heels: DSW // All other pieces: Primark

So I took another hiatus. What else is new. Our life has been a bit all over the place and I have been struggling to keep everything together and organized. I am happy that the winter here is seeming to be winding down, but here in New England you really can never tell. We had a very mild winter compared to last winter where we were buried in snow taller than my car. I don't mind a mild winter, but I would like a little snow on Christmas and a few snow days from work here and there, I mean if I can't get that why do I live in New England?

Lets talk about this outfit though, I did a large haul at Primark Boston before the holidays and I am still loving everything I ended up with. I have been trying to keep in mind my closet when shopping, I always seem to buy multiples of stuff because i'm like ohh this is cute...then I get home and have 4 others...Do you ever go through a phase where you just hate everything in your closet and are just not feeling it? I think I am in one of those ruts right now and I think that's why I have had trouble blogging. I LOVE change, I know its weird but my husband is the same way, I think whats why we live such a hectic life! lol I think I need to change it up..cut my hair..clean out my closet and get a fresh start. The end of the winter is the perfect time to do that....this out fit will say...for sure...others..yea those may be out! If I do a closet clean out i'll be sure to let you all know so you can buy my goodies on Primark or something similar! =)

Happy Monday Ya'll, here's to that last week in February!

p.s. this beanie tho...I got it in maroon and in white...oops!

Olive & Beige

Joggers: Zara (similar) // Top: American Eagle // Heels: Steve Madden via TJ  Maxx // Crossbody: Michael Kors // Scarf: H&M (similar) // Sunglasses: LOFT

So you have seen these joggers before if you have been following along with me, if you have not been following along or are new, here they are again. Now they are transitioned to fall. I paired them with a similarly just with warmer options. I actually wore these again on Tuesday of this week, with the maroon heels I wore in Monday's post, and a nude trench since the weather has been quite drab. I wish I could find the person who made joggers / track pants trendy for women and give them a big hug because really we are so used to squeezing ourselves in tight jeans and clothes that the relief of joggers is literally like no other. These joggers are made of the most amazing silk like material so they can totally pass for being quite dressy, I could actually imagine wearing them if I had a job that required "business casual" dress. Zara is just soo good, but to be honest their prices still a little pricey for me (at least in the US), the quality it totally worth the price but for me personally I don't wear stuff enough to pay top dollar for it, unless it is a clear staple that I know I will get enough wear out of.

I have been on the hunt for a great pair of nude heels and finally came across these Steve Madden pumps at, where-else, TJ Maxx and am SO happy they were still there when I went back. I did the "right" thing, left without buying them and said if I am still thinking about them tomorrow I will go back if the heels are still there then they are mine if not then I will find another pair that I love more. Go me! #selfcontrol #iwish

Red & Black

Joggers: Gap (navy color on sale for $19) // Plaid top: Old Navy // Heels: Franco Sarto // Hat: Primark // Watch: Michael Kors

So I am trying something a little different today, I literally don't think I have ever posted myself wearing an outfit inside, or at work in my office. Well today you can see a very tiny glimpse into the PUMA's international satellite office in Boston, where I work. PUMA's main headquarters are in Germany, hence the reason I am there all the time. Not only can you see one bold red wall in our office you can also see a peek at my office style. Also known as comfy casual, HA! I have told you all before my office is very laid back when it comes to day to day dress code, and I usually wear jeans or joggers like these. I spend so much time commuting (you don't even want to know how long it takes me to get to the office from our house....) into work and running around that I need to dress comfortable, I can not dress to fussy and to sit at my desk all day and try to get stuff done.

These joggers from Gap are perfection, I struggled to find a pair I really liked and I happen to pick these up when they went on sale a few weeks back I think I have worn them at least once a week since, maybe more..oops...
