Winter Neutrals

Sweater: Banana Republic // Scarf: American Eagle // Jeans: Current Elliot // Booties: Nordstrom // Beanie: Primark // Sunglasses: LOFT

So long sweet winter..March is right around the corner, literally. I can't wait for the spring and summer. I can't wait to garden, flower weddings, and hopefully get a damn tan. I am legit so pale its scary! I am hoping Kev and I catch a break and run away to Florida for a weekend, but I won't hold my breath, but hey i'll keep my hopes alive. We could both really use some down time.

I am obsessed with these jeans I got in NYC. They are Current Elliot and they were $10 a piece....what!?!?! I know! My sweater was only $20 from banana republic. I am all about neutrals right now, especially in the winter, I know most people go to black but this winter was about neutrals for me! I think this color palette will continue into spring and summer too.

I know I will be shedding layers this spring and summer so I need to get my but back in gear in the gym. Being so busy that was the first thing to drop off the to do list, but that's super dangerous, not only for my bikini bod but for my mental health. Working out is a must..so keep an eye out for more workout inspo from me!  =)

Skull Sweater & Colorful Shorts

Shorts: 344 / Sweater: TJMaxx / Shoes: Make Me Chic / Clutch: TJMaxx / Bracelets: Alex & Ani, Kate Spade / Sunnies: Kate Spade (thanks mom)

While the weather has been as close to perfection as it gets here in New England, in my option with just a little chill in the air, I have a few more summer pieces I didn't get enough wear out of. So I am slowly transitioning into fall with  the combination of shorts and sweaters. These high waisted shorts are so comfortable and not too short that my fading tan is noticeable, these shorts paired with this oh so adorable skull sweater makes for a super comfortable outfit. Now lets talk about these shoes I got from Make Me Chic, one of my favorite online stores, as I am sure you guys already know. How adorable are they? As some of you may know, pink is not my favorite color, I always tell people it is not pink that I don't like, it just has to be the right shade of pink for me to like something, you know what I mean? There are so many grandma boring pinks why settle!? Also since the heel is a little thicker I could totally walk around all day in them! P.S. Make Me Chic featured me as one of their fashionistas of the week -- wasn't that just so sweet of them!

The return of the...

It's official and here is proof....Vogue.com has spoken the few words I am not sure I am ready for. The women in the photos below are officially on their way to making the jean jacket chic again. I will now be out searching for ever to find the perfect jean jacket. I know that I had a jean jacket, but I am almost positive that it does not fit any longer, also that it is in style....actually I am pretty sure it has patches all over it, and one may be a sun with the words California dreamin' in the background.

The Hi's and Lo's

This post is in lieu of my Easter outfit. Growing up in a family where I am pretty much the only girl, with only one other girl cousin on either side, the whole fashion thing no one ever really understood, for example when I wear camo, my brothers always would run into me and say, ohh I couldn't see you, or where did Justine go I cant see her in all the camouflage.  On Easter I wore a super cute royal blue hi/lo dress I found at Marshalls for $25, needless to say everyone was asking if I forgot the other half of my dress at home, even Kev chimed in! (How Rude!). Of course I have never let any of this stop me, I just need to now prove my point...

In lieu of that I would just like to prove what an awesome trend this Hi/Lo is...

To Start...Celebs:

Then just awesome ways to wear these dresses, they also are super cute as skirts!...

I could even take it as far as my wedding dress.....Kinda cool, not totally me though.

Such a cute trend especially in the summer. I is also s great for us shorter people because I love the idea of maxi dresses, but sometimes the fact that no leg is showing does not help in making me look any taller. With this hi/lo trend, you show a little leg, and can wear a cute heel, sandal, or even flats and take this look from day to night.
